A RATIO-SIM Working Group is a work force mandated by the Advisory Group to work on one or more RATIO-SIM activities. Its members are designated by the Advisory Group from any of the RATIO-SIM stakeholders (i.e. Space Agencies, Space System Integrators, Simulator Developers, Tool Vendors, etc.), depending on their field of expertise.
Resulting from the RATIO-SIM Pilot Study, an initial list of RATIO-SIM activities including their priorities is available in the RATIO-SIM Roadmap. Based on this Roadmap, a number of Working Groups have been identified, which are outlined below. For each of these Working Groups, the specific Terms of Reference, composition, activities and expected outputs are currently being defined. As such, the information provided below is still preliminary and may be subject to change.
Not all of the RATIO-SIM Roadmap activities will be assigned to Working Groups. Due to the generic nature of activities such as Simulators State-of-the-Art and Evolution of the ECSS-E-TM-10-21, it is foreseen that these activities will be executed under the direct responsibility of the Advisory Group.
Working Group
The Simulation Modelling Platform (SMP) Working Group will be responsible for simulation modelling and model portability aspects including standardisation. This WG should take onboard the existing SMP (Level 1) ECSS Working Group and continue the work on SMP with the same community; however now in the wider context of RATIO-SIM.
This WG will be responsible for the execution of the following RATIO-SIM Roadmap activities:
Working Group
The Simulator Architecture Working Group will be responsible for the simulator reference architecture including information flow and engineering processes.
This WG will be responsible for the execution of the following RATIO-SIM Roadmap activities:

The Simulation Infrastructure Working Group will be responsible for the simulation infrastructure including building blocks and interfaces.
