A Final Presentation of the RATIO-SIM Pilot Study was planned for mid-2020 at ESTEC. Due to COVID-19, ESA currently faces restrictions in the hosting of public events. As such, the date for this Final Presentation is currently TBD.

The Workshop on Simulation for European Space Programmes (SESP) has been organised by ESA on a bi-annual basis since 1990. In 2010, the scope of SESP was widened to include the subject areas and organisational functions of the closely associated Workshop on Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE), which until then has been organized as a separate event since 1992.

With the finalisation of the RATIO-SIM Terms of Reference in agreement with the Advisory Group, the RATIO-SIM Initiative has now formally started. In the next period, the first RATIO-SIM Working Groups will be defined, each with their dedicated Terms of Reference, composition, assigned activities and expected output.
